Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is an exquisite actress who has left a lasting impression on the small screen. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. After a brief period she moved to Texas to pursue her physical therapy degree at University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last very long in Texas then moved into Orlando Florida where she experienced a variety of acting roles including local independent films and worldwide commercials. Even though she had small parts, she soon discovered her passion for acting. After moving from New York and in 2001 she was offered her first acting gig on the daytime soap show All My Children as Rosa Santos. Throughout the early 2000s she had small parts in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she landed her first big series part on the short-lived show The Mountain. She played Maria Serrano and De La Garza had the privilege to appear alongside a number of top TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. In 2006, she played A.D.A. on Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She was in 85 episodes. Then she joined the brief-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. The character she played earned De La Garza several nominations such as Best Supporting Actress - Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. She received an Impact Award in 2008 for her exceptional performance in the dramatic TV series of National Hispanic Media Coalition. Then, a short time later De La Garza was cast on CSI Miami in a recurring role. The role was Marisol Delko as the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. As the character Dr. Lena Solis, she was most recently seen in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. The series was cancelled after two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is Italian and is the younger sibling of Cory. She was raised by strict and religious parents. Milano started her acting career at the age of seven, when her babysitter brought her along to an audition to act. Her audition was amidst over 1000 applicants. Her audition was taken for the audition as one of just four girls. Milano has been featured in TV advertisements, off-Broadway productions and the American premiere of Jane Eyre.
